Babar Azam rues smooth dismissals in third ODI after Pakistan lose sequence 1-2 to New Zealand: We had been 20-30 runs quick

Babar Azam reckoned that too many smooth dismissals within the dying overs didn’t enable Pakistan to go previous the 300-run mark within the third ODI at National Stadium in Karachi.

By India Today Web Desk: Skipper Babar Azam was clear reduce in saying that Pakistan couldn’t get the specified rating on the board after opting to bat first in opposition to New Zealand within the third and remaining ODI on Friday, January 13 on the National Stadium in Karachi.

Phillips grew to become the Player of the Match for his unbeaten 42-ball 63 with 4 fours and as many sixes. In the tip, the visiting staff received house with 11 balls to spare. The 28-year-old Babar admitted that Pakistan might have performed higher within the bowling division late within the dying overs.

“We were expecting more turn than we got. But spinners played their role. But we couldn’t quite execute in the last 10 overs with the ball,” he added.
