By Agence France-Presse: A freeway pile-up in central China has killed 16 folks and injured dozens, authorities stated Sunday, with footage aired on native media displaying burning vehicles and smashed automobiles.
Nearly 50 automobiles have been concerned in a number of collisions alongside a freeway in Hunan province throughout the span of 10 minutes on Saturday night, “with some vehicles catching on fire”, native site visitors police stated in an announcement.
Footage republished on-line by the state-owned People’s Daily confirmed a number of burning vehicles bearing the logos of supply firms, crushed and overturned automobiles, and a darkish cloud of smoke rising from the crashes.
