Pakistan: Armed militants storm Karachi Police chief’s workplace, firing underway

By India Today Web Desk: Armed militants stormed the workplace of the Karachi Police chief on Friday and opened hearth. As per native media stories, at the very least eight armed militants are nonetheless contained in the police chief’s workplace, located on Sharea Faisal in Karachi.
At least 8-10 armed males are contained in the police chief’s workplace and the change of fireplace is presently underway, as per a report by Pakistan’s Geo News.
Following the assault, the Karachi Police and Pakistan Rangers have cordoned off the realm.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has directed the related DIGs to ship personnel from their zones. He stated that an assault on the police chief’s workplace was “not acceptable”.
“I want the perpetrators behind the attack on the additional IG’s office to be arrested,” Murad Ali Shah was quoted as saying by Dawn.
