The combating erupted on April 15 following weeks of vitality struggles between navy objects loyal to General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, head of Sudan’s transitional governing Sovereign Council, and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF), led by General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, usually referred to as Hemedti, who’s deputy head of the council, info firm Reuters reported.
It was the first such outbreak since every joined forces to remove Sudan’s President Omar al-Bashir in 2019 and was sparked by a disagreement over the mixture of the RSF into the navy as part of a transition in route of civilian rule, Al Jazeera reported on Sunday.
