By India Today World Desk: US President Joe Biden arrived in Northern Ireland on Tuesday for a brief go to to mark the twenty fifth anniversary of the Good Friday peace accord. He was greeted by UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak at Belfast International Airport. However, a clip of their meeting has left netizens questioning if Biden did not recognise the UK prime minister.

However, an in depth check out the video reveals that Biden did greet Sunak, albeit in an unconventional methodology for two world leaders. Biden shook Sunak’s palms and gave a quick pat on the latter’s arm.
Biden, who’s fiercely completely satisfied together with his Irish heritage, spent merely over half a day throughout the British-run space sooner than travelling to the Republic of Ireland for a three-day go to. The 80-year-old US president calls Ireland “part of my soul”, and his go to consists of journeys to the hometowns of his Nineteenth-century ancestors.
