SHAHJAHANPUR: Eight children and two ladies have been amongst 11 people killed when the tractor trolley they’ve been travelling in fell from the bridge proper right here on Saturday, police acknowledged.
The people have been on their technique to fetch water from Garra river for ‘Bhagwat katha’, they acknowledged.

Of the 11 people, eight have been children and two have been ladies, Superintendent of Police S Anand acknowledged.
As many as 24 people have been injured throughout the incident. Twenty-one of the 24 people, along with seven with important accidents, are current course of treatment on the Government Medical College hospital, acknowledged Shailendra Kumar, Chief Medical Superintendent.
Three others are admitted to Tilhar Primary Health Centre, officers acknowledged.
An official spokesperson in Lucknow acknowledged instructions have been issued to immediately lengthen financial assist of Rs 2 lakh to the kin of each of the deceased and Rs 50,000 to those severely injured.
On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, officers of the district administration, SDRF and NDRF rushed to the spot for discount work, the spokesperson acknowledged.
The accident occurred when people on the tractor-trolley have been going to fetch water and the auto fell from the bridge on the river monetary establishment near Birsinghpur village on the Tilhar-Nigohi avenue, Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Sanjeev Bajpai acknowledged.

Top officers, along with Superintendent of Police S Anand, rushed to the spot to oversee operations.

CM Adityanath has expressed sorrow over the shortage of lives because of incident and extended condolences to the bereaved households.
The chief minister has directed the district administration officers to immediately take the injured to the hospital and assure right treatment, the spokesperson added.
