NEW DELHI: Congress chief Jairam Ramesh on Saturday referred to British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s questioning by a UK Parliamentary panel to take a swipe at PM Narendra Modi, saying such an interplay is “impossible in the self-declared Mother of Democracy”.
Jairam Ramesh mentioned Prime Minister Modi has not spoken on problems with nationwide significance together with on China and Manipur.

Tagging a video during which Sunak is being questioned by a Parliamentary panel for not saying the National Health Service Workforce Plan in Parliament when it was in session, Ramesh mentioned, “And some PMs will never speak on issues like China, Manipur, etc.”
The UK panel requested Sunak why he didn’t announce the NHS workforce plan in Parliament whereas reminding him that when Parliament is in session, a very powerful bulletins of presidency coverage must be made within the first occasion in Parliament.
