KEONJHAR: Unidentified miscreants allegedly tried to assault the car of Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) president Niranjan Patnaik close to Kashipur inside Keonjhar Town police limits on Sunday. Four to 5 miscreants travelling in an MUV intercepted Patnaik’s car and tried to assault the senior Congress chief. However, their bid was foiled on account of intervention of Patnaik’s private safety officer (PSO) who was additionally travelling with him.
