Two-day coaching of chairpersons of Primary Agricultural Cooperative Credit Society accomplished

This two-day coaching was organized at Chhattisgarh Cooperative Training Institute, Pandari Raipur on 03 and 04 October.
Apex Bank Chairman Shri Baijnath Chandrakar stated that through the five-year tenure of Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, the variety of cooperative societies within the state has elevated from 1333 to 2058. Similarly, branches of cooperative banks have elevated from 276 to 329. Rs 185 crore has been supplied for the development of buildings and warehouses of recent 725 committees. He stated {that a} compensation quantity of Rs 217 crore has been given to the cooperative societies. For the comfort of farmers, the variety of paddy procurement facilities was earlier 1995, which has now elevated to 2617. Branches of cooperative banks have been opened in distant and forest areas of the state and up to now 192 ATMs have been put in.
Shri Baijnath Chandrakar advised all of the committee chairpersons to make preparations for the upcoming paddy procurement. He stated that farmers mustn’t face any inconvenience in promoting paddy within the procurement centres. In the coaching, 45 presidents from societies of Kawardha district got coaching. Training was given by topic consultants in management and capability improvement and correct functioning of committees.
