Bihar DGP S.Ok. Singhal stated on Tuesday that the contract for airport car parking zone could possibly be the rationale behind the homicide of IndiGo state head Rupesh Kumar Singh, who was allegedly shot lifeless by criminals close to the Shastri Nagar police station space in Patna on Januray 12.
“We are investigating the case from all possible angles. Prima facie, it appears that contract for airport parking lot could be the reason behind the killing. Whoever was behind the conspiracy had hired contract killers from outside the state,” Singhal stated.
Earlier, Singhal briefed in regards to the investigation to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who’s carefully monitoring this case.

Singhal identified that there was a dispute over the airport car parking zone and the deceased was concerned in it. Some of the deceased’s relations and kin are concerned in personal and authorities contracts.
“The investigation has reached a decisive phase and we will soon disclose the facts after the arrest of the conspirators,” Singhal stated.

“We are thoroughly probing every government and private contracts obtained by the relatives of Singh. This case is extremely complicated and sensitive,” he stated.
Singh was killed on January 12 at round 7.15 pm when he was coming back from the Patna airport. As quickly as he reached the gate of his residential advanced in Punaichak, unknown assailants shot him from shut vary, killing him on the spot.
