Purushottam Patra, Gariaband. Many stories of car service got buried in the pages of history with time. Now when Ram Mandir came into existence, one story after another is coming to light. Two such kar sevaks involved in the anonymous story are also from Devbhog development block. Who had contributed in 1992. Dhannu Ram Yadu, a resident of Jharbhal, at the age of 48, while Ujal Ram Yadav, a resident of Kenduban, at the age of 45, had left for Ayodhya without informing his family on 28 August 1992 to service a car.
Since 1980, when there was an appeal for car service, 6 people had come out from Devbhog. But after reaching Raipur union office, the names of these two personalities are included in those who find their way forward. Of these, Dhannu Ram did not return. His son Mahesh Yadav says that the ceremony was done after waiting for him for two years.
Ujal Ram of Kenduban returned and narrated the story of his struggle to his family. After returning, he remained unopposed as arbitrator from his ward for 5 consecutive terms. When he died two years ago, the Panchayat has been honoring his wife Saibani Bai by making her a Panch.
