Senior Superintendent of Police Girijashankar Jaiswal said that to ensure everyone's participation in the all-round development of the country, the Constitution has given us the right to vote in elections. Through this, we can select such public representatives, who truly work with dedication for the development and welfare of the country. He said that we all must exercise our right to vote in elections. Additional Collector Nishtha Pandey Tiwari said that we get the power of voting from our Constitution, it is the constitutional right of all Indian citizens. Everyone must vote. District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Prabhakar Pandey said that to ensure 100 percent voting in the Lok Sabha elections, voters are being motivated to exercise their franchise through various activities under the SVEEP program in the district.

During the function organized under the SVEEP programme, the Collector and the Senior Superintendent of Police also took photographs in the selfie booth. Also gave the message to the voters, “Go to vote, do your duty” and “My vote, my strength”. Let us tell you that elections for Bilaspur Lok Sabha are to be held on 07 May. Preparations for this have been started by the district administration. Officers and employees are being trained for free, fair and peaceful elections.
