    Sudhir Sahu, Raipur. BJP candidate Santosh Pandey from Chhattisgarh’s high profile seat Rajnandgaon has defeated Congress candidate former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel by 4 lakh four thousand 411 votes. Santosh Pandey got a total of 712057 votes. Bhupesh Baghel got 667646 votes. There are 8 assembly constituencies in this Lok Sabha, out of which the BJP candidate got the biggest lead from former CM Dr. Raman Singh’s assembly constituency Rajnandgaon. Mohla Manpur assembly constituency became the biggest gap for the BJP. Here Bhupesh Baghel led by 39340 votes.

    There are 8 assembly constituencies in Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha constituency, which include Pandaria, Kawardha, Rajnandgaon, Khairagarh, Dongargarh, Dongargaon, Khujji and Mohla-Manpur. Out of these, BJP has MLAs in only three assembly constituencies. Congress has MLAs in the remaining four.

    Know who got how many votes assembly wise –

    Rajnandgaon Assembly: BJP candidate got the biggest lead from Rajnandgaon, the assembly seat of former CM Dr. Raman Singh. Here Santosh Pandey got 108657 votes. Whereas former CM Bhupesh Baghel got 50991 votes. From here BJP took the lead by 17038 votes.

    Pandaria Assembly: BJP candidate Santosh Pandey got 106908 votes and Congress candidate Bhupesh Baghel got 110314 votes from Pandaria assembly constituency of BJP MLA Bhavna Bohra. Here Baghel was ahead by 3406 votes.

    Kawardha Assembly: In Deputy CM Vijay Sharma’s assembly constituency Kawardha, the BJP candidate was ahead by 10405 votes. Here Santosh Pandey got 125803 votes and Bhupesh Baghel got 115398 votes.

    Khairagarh Assembly: In Congress MLA Yashoda Verma’s constituency Khairagarh, BJP candidate Santosh Pandey led by 5959 votes. He got a total of 85716 votes and Congress candidate Bhupesh Baghel got 79757 votes.

    Dongargaon Assembly: Here too, there is a Congress MLA. The BJP candidate registered a big lead from this constituency of Daleshwar Sahu. Here, Santosh Pandey led by 17038 votes. He got a total of 89119 votes and Bhupesh Baghel got 72081 votes.

    Dongargarh Assembly: BJP registered a big lead from this constituency of Congress MLA Harshita Baghel Sahu. Here Santosh Pandey led by 10958 votes. He got a total of 85961 votes and Bhupesh Baghel got 75003 votes.

    Mohla-Manpur Assembly: In the Lok Sabha elections 2024, Mohla Manpur assembly constituency became the biggest gap for BJP. In the area of ​​Congress MLA Indra Shah Mandavi, the BJP candidate lagged behind by a huge margin. Breaking all the records so far, Congress candidate from this area, former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel remained in the lead by 39340 votes. Here Baghel got 81140 votes and Santosh Pandey got 41800 votes.

    Khujji Assembly: Congress has an MLA here too. Bhupesh Baghel led by 14919 votes from MLA Bholaram Sahu’s assembly constituency. Here he got a total of 82394 votes. BJP candidate Santosh Pandey got 67475 votes.
