    IND vs AFG, T20 World Cup 2024: India defeated Afghanistan by 47 runs in the third match of the Super-8 stage in the T20 World Cup 2024. India captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bat first. After which the Indian team scored 181 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Chasing the target of 182 runs, the entire Afghanistan team was all out for a score of 134 runs in the stipulated 20 overs.

    Let us tell you that this was India’s first match in the Super 8 stage and the team made a winning start. Batting first, India scored 181 runs for eight wickets in 20 overs with the help of Suryakumar Yadav’s half-century. In response, Bumrah and Arshdeep took three wickets each, on the basis of which India bowled out Afghanistan for 134 runs in 20 overs.

    For Afghanistan, Azmatullah Omarzai scored the highest 26 runs in 20 balls with the help of two fours and a six. While chasing the target, Afghanistan did not have a good start and the team kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Indian bowlers also performed well in this match and succeeded in defending the score.

    India will face Bangladesh on Saturday

    India will now face Bangladesh on Saturday. India is at the top of Group 1 of the Super Eight stage with two points.
