Directed by National Award winner Sudha Kongara, Sarfira is a gripping story that sheds light on the world of start-ups and aviation. Inspired by true stories and Captain Gopinath’s book ‘SimpliFly’, the film paints a poignant picture of grit and perseverance. Akshay Kumar plays Veer Jagannath Mhatre, a visionary from rural Maharashtra who is determined to revolutionise air travel in India.
Speaking about his innovative music composition, G.V Prakash said, “It has been a truly wonderful experience composing music for Sarfir. ‘Maar Udi’ is a track that reflects the heart and soul of the film – it is about rising above challenges and believing in yourself. We are excited to make the audience feel this song.”
Lyricist Manoj Muntashir Shukla said, “Writing the lyrics for Maar Udi was a journey in itself.
