    IND vs AUS, T20 World Cup 2024: The Indian team has entered the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup by defeating Australia by 24 runs in the final match of the Super 8 stage. After losing the toss and batting first, the Indian team scored 205 runs for five wickets in 20 overs on the basis of Rohit Sharma’s innings of 92 runs, in response, the Australian team could only score 181 runs for seven wickets in 20 overs and had to face its second consecutive defeat.

    In this match, Travis Head scored 76 runs in 43 balls with the help of nine fours and four sixes for Australia. He shared an 81-run partnership for the second wicket with captain Mitchell Marsh. At one time it seemed that the Australian team would win this match, but the Indian bowlers made a strong comeback and continued their winning campaign in the tournament. For India, fast bowler Arshdeep Singh took three wickets, while wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav got two wickets.
