    Highlights

    Every day, all snake catchers receive about 100 calls. About 40 percent of these calls are about poisonous snakes. Both the siblings were bitten by snakes at different times.

    Navdunia Representative, Bhopal. Do not resort to black magic if you are bitten by a snake, otherwise death is certain. A week ago, Rahul (name changed), a resident of a rural area, was bitten by a snake. His family took him to a person in the village for black magic. When his condition worsened, he was declared dead when he was taken to the hospital.

    During this time, his sister Renu (name changed) who was alone at home was also bitten by a snake. When the family reached home, she was unconscious. She was admitted to Hamidia Hospital. Where she is now out of danger. Snake catcher Diwan Ahuja told that during monsoon, all snake catchers get about 100 calls daily. On reaching the spot, about 40 percent of the snakes are found to be poisonous. Which mainly includes viper, krait and cobra.
