Naiduniya Representative, Bhopal. A low pressure area has formed in the Bay of Bengal. Along with this, three other weather systems are also active at different places. Due to this, there is intermittent rain in most of the districts of the state.
In the same sequence, from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm on Friday, 83 mm rain was recorded in Raisen, 53 mm in Narmadapuram, 43 mm in Pachmarhi, 30 mm in Bhopal, 25 mm in Naugaon, 22 mm in Chhindwara, 18 mm in Ujjain, 9 mm in Ratlam and Dhar, 8 mm in Guna and Malajkhand, 3 mm in Khajuraho and Sidhi, 1 mm in Betul and Indore, 0.5 mm in Satna and 0.2 mm in Jabalpur.
Yellow alert for rain in these districts
According to meteorologists, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Bhopal, Raisen, Sehore, Vidisha, Narmadapuram, Gwalior, Sagar, Jabalpur, Sheopurkalan, Shivpuri, Burhanpur, Betul, Khandwa, Harda, Chhindwara, Seoni, Mandla, Anuppur, Umaria, Shahdol, Katni, Sidhi, Sagar, Narsinghpur. Moderate rain may occur in the remaining places.
Three weather systems are active
According to the information received from the Meteorological Center, currently a low pressure area has formed in the northern Bay of Bengal and the Gangetic region adjoining it. The monsoon trough is going through Sri Ganganagar, Rohtak, Delhi, Agra, Sidhi, Daltonganj, Asansol to reach the low pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal.
An offshore trough is formed from South Gujarat to North Kerala. A shear zone of opposite winds is formed over Maharashtra. Former senior meteorologist of Meteorological Center Ajay Shukla said that a low pressure area has formed in the Bay of Bengal. Apart from this, three other weather systems are also formed at different places.

Due to the influence of weather systems, there is a continuous flow of moisture from the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal. Due to this, there is intermittent rainfall in the entire state.
There is a possibility of heavy rainfall in 20 districts including Bhopal, Raisen, Sehore, Vidisha. Moderate rainfall is also expected in the remaining areas. On the other hand, due to the advancement of the low pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal, the series of rains is likely to continue in the state.
Heavy rain in Ratlam, waterfall flowing from 30 feet height
In Ratlam, it rained intermittently throughout the day on Friday. This kept the atmosphere pleasant. Due to heavy rain on Thursday night, water accumulated up to three to four feet on the roads of Ratlam. In 24 hours, the city received 151 mm of rain and Bajna received 180 mm of rain.
Due to good rainfall, waterfalls have started falling from a height of about 30 feet in both Kedareshwar of Sailana. The average rainfall in the district so far has been 359.13 mm. Last year, 575.75 mm of water had rained during this period.
