    Ranchi: On World Tribal Day, a colourful programme will begin from Friday at Birsa Munda Smriti Udyan in the capital. The two-day programme will be inaugurated by Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar. This time the celebration has been given a grand look. Attractive electrical decorations have been done around the garden. Birsa Munda Smriti Udyan, glittering with colourful lights, is attracting people. The culture and rural philosophy of the tribals of Jharkhand has been shown behind the main stage built in the function. Painters have engraved tribal art-culture and civilization on the canvas. During the programme, people will come face to face with the art-culture of tribals from all over the country. Artists from Mizoram, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Maharashtra, Tripura, Chhattisgarh and other states will give captivating performances. During the festival, there will be art-craft exhibition, Reej-Rang Shobha Yatra, tribal cuisine competition, book fair, kavi sammelan, fashion show, laser show, sports and attractive fireworks on the occasion of closing. The district administration has completed the preparations for the programme. Tight security arrangements have been made.
