    Lakshika Sahu, Raipur. The 17th foundation day celebration of Chhattisgarh Official Language Commission was held in the capital Raipur on 14 August. This program was organized in the auditorium of Mahant Raja Ghasidas Museum located at Ghadi Chowk in Raipur, which was presided over by MP Brijmohan Agarwal. MLA Purandar Mishra and Secretary of Culture Department Anbalgan PG were also special guests on this occasion. The program started at 11 am, in which poets, historians and people associated with the Official Language Commission from all over the state were present.

    Let us tell you that this special program was organized in two sessions. In the second session, 14 books published by the Official Language Commission were released by MP Brijmohan Agarwal. After this, a discussion was organized on the direction of the curriculum in Chhattisgarhi and the use of Chhattisgarhi in administrative work.

    Secretary of Chhattisgarhi Official Language Commission, Dr. Abhilasha Behar said that on the occasion of the 17th Foundation Day, a Chhattisgarhi Kavi Sammelan and book release were organized today. She said that the Commission is constantly struggling to impart education in the mother tongue and continuous efforts are being made to include Chhattisgarhi in the 8th Schedule and to bring it into administrative work.

    Chief guest MP Brijmohan Agrawal wished everyone at the ceremony. He said that the commission has been formed under our leadership and it is our duty to respect the mother tongue. Brijmohan Agrawal assured the people of Chhattisgarh that the public has sent him to the Parliament, so it is also his responsibility to include Chhattisgarhi in the 8th Schedule.
