Out of 30 mentally challenged children above the age of 18 living in Yugpurush Dham Intellectual Development Center located in Panchkuiya, 26 have been shifted to Sevadham Ashram located in Ujjain. Let us tell you that in the beginning of July, after the continuous death and ill health of mentally challenged children, the children were shifted to Parmanand Ashram located on Khandwa Road.

After about 20 days, he was brought back to Yugpurush Dham Ashram

Since then, the process of transferring about 30 youths above the age of 18 living here to an NGO in Ujjain was underway. Apart from this, the officials of the Women and Child Development Department are busy convincing a dozen children of the ashram to be handed back to their parents.

142 children were shifted to Yugpurush Dham Ashram a few days ago, whereas the capacity here is to keep 100 children. In such a situation, a plan was made to shift the 42 children living here to another place. District Program Officer of Women and Child Development Department, Ramniwas Budholia said that there are 30 children in Yugpurush Dham, who have crossed the age of 18 years.

According to the rules, they can be freed from the ashram. Out of these, 26 disabled people have been transferred to Ujjain. The process is on for four others. About a dozen children are not orphans, efforts are being made to hand them over to their parents.
