Pressure to convert by luring and threatening in Mhow

A case has been registered against seven people in Badia village of Badgonda police station area for luring and threatening people to convert from Sanatan to Christianity. The accused made the villagers read the Bible and forced them to convert to Christianity and also offered them financial inducements. On the complaint of the villagers, the police arrested them and presented them in the court, from where they were sent to jail.

Heavy rain in next 24 hours

Due to the low pressure area formed in Bangladesh, intermittent rains may start in many cities of Madhya Pradesh from Thursday. Heavy rains are expected in most of the cities of the state on Wednesday.

Madrasas imparting religious education to non-Muslims will be closed

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced on Tuesday that madrasas violating constitutional provisions will be closed in the state. The recognition of madrasas receiving grants in the name of Hindu children through fraud will also be cancelled.

OBC reservation cases will be transferred to the Supreme Court

All the cases related to OBC reservation pending in the Madhya Pradesh High Court since 2019 will now be sent to the Supreme Court for hearing. The Supreme Court bench gave instructions on this on Tuesday. The case is related to the amendment to increase OBC reservation from 14% to 27% and the petitions challenging the 87:13 percent formula. The Supreme Court has sought a reply from the MP government.

7 people from UP died in an accident while going from Chhatarpur to Bageshwar Dham

7 people died and more than 4 were injured when an auto rickshaw carrying pilgrims going to Bageshwar Dham from Chhatarpur railway station collided with a truck.
