Naiduniya representative, Bhind. A young man died after drowning in the water while rescuing his domestic cattle from the Kwari river located in Kachungra of Dehat police station area. The boat of the villagers and SDRF (State Disaster Response Force) personnel who went to rescue the young man went out of control, due to which all were swept away. The villager and a soldier were rescued, while two soldiers are missing.
Young man drowned in dam
43-year-old Vijay Kushwaha, a resident of Kachungra, went to graze his cattle near the stop dam built on the Kwari river, just 400 meters away from his house, at 3 pm on Wednesday. One of the cattle got stuck in the stop dam. Vijay’s brother Sunil and Nilesh and Madan from the village started efforts to take out the trapped cattle.

Vijay went deep into the dam and drowned. Villager Dinesh Bhadoria, SDRF personnel Praveen Kushwaha, Hardas Chauhan and Rahul Sharma entered the river in search of Vijay. Due to the strong current, their boat became uncontrollable. Due to this, all four people started flowing in the river. Villager Dinesh Bhadoria got stuck in the bushes.

The SDRF team carried out a rescue operation in search of the jawans who were swept away in the water, but they could not be traced anywhere. The rescue operation had to be stopped due to darkness. Earlier, Vijay Kushwaha was taken out of the dam and taken to the hospital for treatment, where the doctors declared him dead.
