Congress is protesting in different cities of the country against the irregularities of Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) in the report of American short-seller Hindenburg Research. Under this, Congress workers are protesting in Bhopal. A large number of Congress workers and officials are present at the Board Office Square in Bhopal.
Congress workers have come out to gherao the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office in connection with this matter. In the demonstration being carried out by the District Congress Committee, a large number of Congress workers including Congress General Secretary State In-charge Jitendra Singh, State President Jeetu Patwari, Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar are raising slogans at Vyapam Square. Former ministers Ajay Singh Rahul Bhaiya and Govind Singh have also reached there.
A large number of police force has been deployed at Vyapam Square. Congressmen are demanding action from ED on this matter. Earlier, Congressmen were going to protest at ED office, but police administration did not give permission. Permission was given to protest at Vyapam Square, hence a large number of Congressmen are gathering at Vyapam Square and protesting. Police has stopped Congressmen by barricading. Congressmen are raising slogans.
