Jamshedpur. The trainee aircraft that went missing about 20 minutes after taking off from Jamshedpur’s Sonari Airport on Tuesday has not been found yet. Its search is on. A 15-member Navy team reached Chandil Dam on Thursday to search for the missing trainee aircraft and Captain Jeet Shatru Anand and trainee pilot Shubhrodeep Dutta on board. The 15-member Navy team has reached Chandil Dam and started the rescue operation to find the missing aircraft and the pilot. In fact, after the aircraft went missing, the administration had appealed to Minister of State for Defense Sanjay Seth for help.

After this, he directed a rescue operation to search for the pilots. A 15-member Navy team left for Ranchi from Hyderabad on Wednesday evening by a special plane. This team has brought four hydro sealers machines and other necessary equipment for the rescue operation. The training aircraft of Alchemist Aviation went missing about 20 minutes after taking off from Sonari Airport in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand on Tuesday.

There were two pilots on board this plane. It is feared that the plane crashed into Chandil Dam in East Singhbhum. The NDRF team has been engaged in search operation in the dam since Tuesday evening. Local villagers have told the administration that they saw the plane falling into the dam. The plane was being flown by Captain Jeet Shatru Anand, a resident of Patna, and trainee pilot Shubhrodeep Dutta, a resident of Jamshedpur, was with him.

The plane took off at around 11 am and lost contact with ATC (Air Traffic Control) after about 20 minutes. Fearing an accident, the airport management sought help from the East Singhbhum and Saraikela-Kharsawan district administration. Based on the last location of the plane, a search was started in Jamshedpur’s Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary and surrounding areas from Tuesday afternoon itself. A search operation was conducted in the entire area by helicopter, but no clue was found.
