Gates of Indira Sagar and Omkareshwar dams opened

Due to the rain in the Narmada valley and the opening of the gates of the dams, the water level of the Indira Sagar and Omkareshwar dams has increased. On Sunday, water was released into the Narmada river by opening eight gates of Indira Sagar and seven gates of Omkareshwar. The water level of the Indira Sagar dam is 261.5 meters, from which a total of 2848 cumecs of water is being released.

Recruitment in MP Police will start from November

The process of recruitment for about 500 sub-inspector posts in the state police has not started yet, because the government has not prepared the recruitment rules. The physical efficiency test for the recruitment of constables is starting from September, which will last for 2 months. The recruitment process of sub-inspectors is likely to start in November or December and may take 5-6 months to complete, due to which appointment will be possible by 2025.

Employees of Madhya Pradesh are excited about the Unified Pension Scheme introduced by the Government of India. The new scheme includes guaranteed minimum pension and other facilities which are not in the current pension scheme. Employee organizations have welcomed it and have appealed to the government to provide its benefits to more than 4.5 lakh employees of the state. The financial impact will be tested before implementing the new scheme.

Additional SP’s daughter-in-law committed suicide

Shreya Singh, daughter-in-law of Indore Additional SP Tarunendra Singh Baghel, committed suicide by hanging herself at her maternal home. Shreya was married to Varun Singh on July 12. The reasons for the suicide are not yet clear, and the police have seized Shreya’s mobile for investigation. The post-mortem of the body has been done.
