Collector gave instructions to district hospital management, entry will be given only after showing the pass

Naiduniya representative, Bhind. From the general ward to the ICU and emergency wards of the district hospital, the crowd of relatives coming to meet the patients is becoming a problem. Due to four attendants coming to one patient, the wards remain crowded. Recently, Collector Sanjeev Srivastava had come to inspect the district hospital.

Seeing the large number of attendants in the wards, he told the hospital management that only one attendant should stay with a patient. The hospital management is now preparing to impose a fine on those found with more than one attendant in the wards and appoint security personnel.

Let us tell you that during the treatment of patients admitted in ICU, emergency, trauma center and other wards, four to five attendants are coming to the patient’s bed. The brunt of this is faced by those patients who bring only one attendant to the hospital.

Everyday, incidents of indecent behaviour and assault by anti-social elements are reported in the hospital premises. Earlier, a gate pass rule was implemented in the hospital. Which lasted only for a few days. If the gate pass rule is started again for entry, then the movement of anti-social elements can be controlled.

The collector said- is this a park that people come here to visit

Seeing the crowd of attendants in the women’s ward of the hospital, the collector expressed his displeasure and told everyone that this is not a park that you people come here. If you want health facilities in government hospitals like private hospitals, then you should also follow the rules.

Efforts are being made to ensure that only one attendant stays with each patient admitted in the hospital wards. Also, security personnel will be appointed in the hospital.
