The vehicle of a driver who was trying to take out a tractor without crossing the railway track got stuck on the track. Fearing the approaching train, the driver abandoned the vehicle and fled, risking the lives of thousands of passengers. Meanwhile, the pilot of Somnath Express passing through here sensed the danger and informed the railway control and stopped Udhna Express by bursting a signal cracker and applying emergency brakes. RPF Pipariya is investigating this matter. The tractor has been recovered and now its driver is being searched.

According to the information, the driver of a tractor on the railway track was trying to cross the track directly away from the crossing gate, when the tractor got stuck on the tracks. 20934 Danapur-Udhna Express was going to arrive at a high speed on the route on which the tractor was stuck.
The driver of Somnath Express which was passing through the up track posing a risk on the down track, first stopped his own vehicle and also informed the pilot of Danapur Express about the danger by sending a message to the control.
Signal crackers were also fired at the accident site so that the oncoming train could be informed of the danger. After the accident, Danapur and Somnath Express were stopped on both up and down tracks. Departmental investigation of the case has been ordered. RPF Pipariya has reached the spot and recovered the tractor.
A major accident was averted by prudence
According to the officials, a big accident was averted due to the alertness of the driver of Somnath Express. This train was going from Itarsi to Jabalpur, while Danapur Express was coming from Jabalpur to Itarsi. The driver told that a tractor was seen stuck on the down line, seeing this the train manager and pilot informed Gurmakhedi station. The driver told that when we stopped the train and looked, the driver had fled, after some time 20934 Danapur Udhna Express was coming on this track. The loco pilot of Somnath Express, seeing the danger, burst crackers, informed the railway control and alerted them, and also asked not to move any train forward. Gurmakhedi station got the information from the control room, here the sub-station manager told that Danapur Express had crossed two signals. Due to this the train was stopped by reddening the third signal. The drivers became alert when crackers were burst at a distance of one km from Udhna Express, due to which a big accident was averted. The railways immediately issued instructions to stop the trains coming on both the tracks.
According to RPF, there is no crossing gate at the spot, it is suspected that the tractor driver was crossing the line to go to the other side after working in the field, here his tractor got stuck, when the tractor did not reverse despite a lot of effort, he fled from the spot.
