    Durg. The first All India Weightlifting Cluster (Weightlifting, Yoga and Power Lifting) Championship 2024-2025 is being organized by the All India Police Control Board New Delhi and Chhattisgarh Police from 23 to 27 September 2024. This event is a proud moment for Chhattisgarh, as the state has got the hosting of this championship being organized for the first time.

    Let us tell you that 33 teams from different states, union territories and central security forces are participating in this championship, in which a total of 1500 coaches and players are taking part. The championship will be organized at three different places in Bhilai, which will further increase the enthusiasm for sports in the region.

    The competition will feature several events across different categories:

    Powerlifting (Men/Women): Total 10 events Weightlifting (Men/Women): Total 8 events Yoga (Men/Women): Total 5 events

    It is worth mentioning that in this championship, players of different age groups will compete for a total of 312 medals, in which 52 players of Chhattisgarh Police will participate. Chhattisgarh Police is giving a grand welcome to all the managers, coaches and participants coming to the championship by giving them towels and bouquets. Accommodation arrangements have been made at various places and food has been arranged at Jayanti Stadium Ground for all the players and coaching staff.

    This event will not only promote sports, but will also bring fame to Chhattisgarh at the national level. All sports lovers and spectators are appealed to participate in this prestigious event and encourage the players.
