Naiduniya representative, Rewa. In Chhipiya village of Dabhaura police station area of the district, a young man suspected of character and attacked his wife and two children with an iron rod and an axe. Four-year-old son Ravindra died in the incident.
The villagers handed over the accused to the police
Wife Seema and daughter Ragini have been admitted to Sanjay Gandhi Medical College Hospital in critical condition. After the incident that took place late Saturday night, the villagers caught the accused Rambali Charmakar and handed him over to the police.
The accused used to doubt his wife
SP Rewa Vivek Singh said that a child has died in the incident. The accused has been arrested and is being questioned. According to police station in-charge Rishabh Baghel, the accused Rambali used to doubt the character of his wife Seema. Due to this, there used to be arguments every day. Troubled by this, the woman had gone to live at her maternal home.
The children kept pleading to be left alone
She had returned a few days ago. After a quarrel late at night, the accused attacked his wife with an iron rod and an axe. He also attacked and injured the two children who came to intervene. The son died on the spot.
