Muzaffarnagar. Cyber criminals are not only cheating the common people, but now they are not even sparing the government. One such case has come to light. Where cyber criminals created 48 fake companies and issued fake GST bills worth 925 crores. Due to which the government suffered a revenue loss of Rs 135 crore. Police have arrested 7 accused in the case.

Let us tell you that by creating 48 fake companies and issuing fake GST bills of Rs 925 crore, the government has been cheated of revenue of Rs 135 crore. Apart from this, the gang also made transactions of Rs 1 crore 90 lakh through hawala. The police have recovered screenshots of the exchange of fake GST bills, 2 PAN cards, 3 copies, eight mobiles and 20 SIM cards.

The police have arrested seven accused including the mastermind who is a resident of Ratanpuri, Khatauli, Budhana. One of the arrested accused is a B.Tech in Computer Science. A case has been registered in the cyber police station. Further action is being taken.
