Shivam Mishra, Raipur. President of India Draupadi Murmu is coming on a two-day visit to Chhattisgarh. During this period the President will participate in more than half a dozen programs. Raipur and Durg have been put on high alert regarding President Murmu’s visit. More than one thousand soldiers have been deployed in Raipur for security purposes. Besides, more than 100 officers including IG, DIG, Additional SP will be deployed on duty. Rashtrapati Bhavan has sent the minute to minute two-day program of President Draupadi Murmu to the state government.
Preparations for the President’s visit have intensified. Special care is being taken about security arrangements in this tour. The DGP has issued important guidelines to senior officials regarding the security of the President. The entire command of Presidential security will be in the hands of Raipur Range IG Amresh Mishra. IG Amresh Mishra, along with being a senior officer, also has a good understanding of VVIP security, that is why he has been entrusted with the responsibility of security.
According to the minute to minute program of President Murmu, she is going to participate in many programs in Raipur. From Raipur Airport, she will participate in more than half a dozen programs including AIIMS, NIT, Nava Raipur, Raj Bhavan, Jagannath Temple. During this period, more than a thousand police personnel and more than a hundred senior police officers will handle security in different areas of the city. For this, additional forces have also been called from other districts.
These officers were deployed for the security of the President
IG Amresh Mishra, Senior Superintendent of Police Raipur Santosh Kumar Singh, Prashant Kumar Aggarwal, Abhishek Meena, Sujit Kumar, Abhishek Pallav, Prashant Thakur, Dharmendra Singh, Amit Tukaram Kamble and other officers will be deployed for the security of the President.
Minute-to-minute program of President Draupadi Murmu
25 October 2024 (First Day) 11 am: President’s arrival at Raipur Airport. 11:30 am: Will attend the second convocation of Raipur AIIMS. 1 pm: Will leave from AIIMS and reach Raj Bhawan. 3 pm: NIT Will participate in the 14th convocation ceremony of Raipur. 4:30 pm: Meeting with local tribals at Purkhauti Muktangan in Nava Raipur. 6 pm: Will return to Raj Bhavan and rest for the night.
26 October 2024 (Day 2) 9 am: Visit to Vivekananda Sarovar, Raipur. 10 am: Departure for Bhilai from Raipur Airport. 11 am: Will attend the fourth convocation of IIT Bhilai. 1:30 pm: Will return from Bhilai to Raj Bhavan in Raipur. 3:30 pm: Will take part in the third convocation of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Smriti Medical and AYUSH University. 5 pm: After the convocation, she will depart from Raipur airport for Delhi.
