He announced his retirement on his social media platform ‘X’ last night. 40-year-old Saha made his IPL debut in 2008. After this, he debuted in international cricket in the year 2010. During this period, he has played a total of 40 Test matches and nine ODIs for India. However, at present he was out of the team for a long time.
In a post released on social media, Saha wrote, “After a wonderful journey in cricket, the current season will be my last season. I feel honored to represent Bengal for the last time. I will play Ranji Trophy for the last time before I retire. Thank you all for supporting us in this wonderful journey. Your support means a lot to me. Let’s make this season more memorable.” However, he has not given any information on whether he will play in IPL or not.
