Raipur, December 21, 2024/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has stated that education is essential for achieving success in any field. Life is incomplete without education; education is the foundation of development. The Chief Minister made this statement while addressing the 18th annual function of Kanger Valley Academy in Raipur.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that our double-engine government has taken unprecedented decisions in the field of education. We have implemented the National Education Policy in the state. We have initiated innovative initiatives like teacher-parent meetings and invitation dinners in schools to improve the quality of education and children’s nutrition. He said that 341 schools in the state have been selected as PM SHRI schools. This is providing good infrastructure and smart class facilities for education. He said that all major national-level educational institutions are being run in Chhattisgarh.
Chief Minister Shri Sai expressed happiness at the academy’s emphasis on sports along with academics, and the inclusion of meditation for students. He also advised the children that sports and co-curricular activities are necessary for their overall development alongside academics.
MLA Padmashri Shri Anuj Sharma said that this school is also working on inculcating values along with education. Education plays a significant role in personality development and forms the basis of future successes.
Chief Minister Shri Sai also viewed an exhibition of paintings and fine art creations made by the academy’s students.
