Raipur, December 27, 2024/ Following the instructions of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, the government has taken a new initiative in the interest of employees by revising their monthly allowances. This will improve employee performance. An order has been issued by the Finance Department in this regard.
The state government has revised the allowances for Revenue Inspectors, Sales Amin, Assistant Rural Agricultural Extension Officers (Gram Sevaks), Assistant Development Extension Officers, Veterinary Field Assistants, and Hand Pump Technicians of the Public Health Engineering Department. Their current allowance of Rs. 350 per month will be revised to Rs. 1200 per month as travel allowance. Similarly, the travel allowance of peons and Jamadars of the Revenue Department at the district and tehsil levels, Chainmen of the Forest and Revenue Departments, Process Servers of the Judicial and Commercial Tax Department, and Patwaris working in rural areas will be revised from the current rate of Rs. 300 per month to Rs. 1000 per month. Other terms and conditions of the travel allowance will remain the same.
