Gumla, Durjay Paswan: An IED bomb laid by CPI Maoists has been recovered in the forest of Kutma village located in Kurumgarh police station of Chainpur block of Gumla. This bomb was planted in the year 2021 to blow up the police. However, as it was night, the bomb was not removed from the road. Bomb defuse team was called from Ranchi. The team will come from Ranchi on Friday. After this the bomb will be defused.
Traffic has been banned
From security point of view, traffic has been banned on the route where the bomb was found. At the same time, search operation is being conducted in the area by the security forces. In this regard, SDPO Suresh Prasad Yadav said that the BDS team has been called to defuse the bomb. Till the time of writing the news, the police is investigating the entire matter. The bomb will be defused only after the arrival of the team from Ranchi. Let us tell you here that the road to Kutma village goes through Gumla, Anjan and Harinakhad, which is a very dense forest.

Naxalites had laid bombs at many places on the way to Kutma forest.
In the year 2021, Naxalites had laid IED bombs at many places on the way to Kutma forest. So that the police can be bombed. But, due to police raid, many Naxalites were killed in the encounter in this area and many Naxalites were caught by the police and sent to jail. Due to this, the bomb planted by the Naxalites is left lying on the road, which is now being found. Earlier in the month of July 2024, 35 IED bombs were found through the same Harinakhad route. Whereas, on 26 November 2024, five IED bombs were found. After this, a bomb was found again on Thursday.
