Bhopal :- Rapid raids by the Income Tax Department have been going on in the capital Bhopal for the last few days. Due to which there is chaos in the city among those who earn money through wrong means. Now Thursday-Friday the Income Tax Department has got a big success. The Income Tax team has recovered about 52 kg of gold from the Mendori forest of Bhopal, the value of which is said to be Rs 40 crore 47 lakh. It is believed that this IT raid is the biggest raid of Bhopal till date.
Joint action of police and IT
According to the information received, an abandoned Innova car was reported parked in Mendora. After which the police and Income Tax Department raided here with full caution at 2 o’clock in the night. During this time, two bags were found in the car which contained gold only. 100 personnel of Income Tax Department and police were accompanying in this raid.
Who is the owner of this money?
It is believed that preparations were being made to dispose of this gold to avoid the raid, but it was caught before that. According to media reports, the car is registered in the name of someone from Gwalior. However, it is also believed that this golden thread is connected to some former officer of Bhopal.
IT raided 49 locations in Bhopal
Income Tax Department action is going on against builders for the last three days in Madhya Pradesh. On the very first day, IT had hit 49 targets in Bhopal. In which the prominent names were Trishul Construction, Kwality Group and Ishan Group. About Rs 10 crore was also seized in this raid. The Income Tax Department’s action includes places like Neelbad, MP Nagar, Kasturba Nagar and Number 10 Market.
