As per the instructions given by Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao in the review meeting, the EPF amount of each placement employee is to be deposited in their EPF accounts regularly. Besides, better health facilities have to be provided to the placement employees and their dependent family members. Taking the above instructions seriously, with the aim of providing free cashless health facilities to the placement employees of Municipal Council Kondagaon and their dependent family members, e-identity cards were distributed by Mr. Jasketu Usendi, Vice President of Municipal Council Kondagaon. With the e-identity card, placement employees and their dependent family members get free medicines and health tests (CT scan, MRI etc.), convenient treatment by specialist doctors for all minor or major diseases, in case of any unexpected incident during work in the body, 80 In case of organ damage, 80 percent of the last salary will be eligible for lifetime pension. In case of death during work, the successor will receive 80 percent of the employee’s last salary as pension. E-identification card will save the medical expenses of the placement employees and their dependents, as a result of which the placement employees will be able to use the saved amount to improve the education and standard of living of their children and their financial condition will be strengthened.

Municipal placement employees were till now deprived of free health facilities.

Municipal Council Kondagaon was formed on 01 April 1975. But these employees were deprived of free health facilities. This has been possible due to the positive thinking of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao towards the placement employees and the sensitivity of the regional MLA Ms. Lata Usendi towards the interests of the employees. With the e-identification card, placement employees and their dependents will get the facility of free treatment by specialist doctors in India. CMO Shri Dinesh Dey was present on this occasion.
