Raipur :- On the instructions of Housing and Environment Minister OP Chaudhary, Executive Engineer of Chhattisgarh Housing Board, Jagdalpur, C.K. Thakur and assistant engineer Neeraj Thakur have been suspended after irregularities were found in the construction work. Also, contractor M/s N. Of. A notice has also been issued to blacklist Construction Durg.
Housing and Environment Minister OP Choudhary said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, any kind of irregularity in quality and administrative work will not be tolerated.
An investigation was conducted at the headquarters level after complaints were received regarding the construction works of GAD housing buildings in Bhairamgarh, Bhopalpattam and Usoor (Aavapalli) blocks of Bijapur district. The investigation found irregularities and delay in the works, after which the contractor M/s N. Of. Notice has been issued to cancel the registration of Construction Fort. It was also revealed that M/s N. Of. The last payment against construction work was made during the previous regime. The contractor was also paid for the work already done by him.
With the aim of ensuring transparency and good governance, Chhattisgarh Housing Board Commissioner Kundan Kumar (IAS) issued the suspension order so that quality and timely government housing can be made available to the citizens.
