“Chhattisgarh is setting new standards in maternal and child health with the cooperation of the central and state governments – Chief Minister Shri Say”

“Chief Minister Shri Say expressed gratitude towards the central government for its unparalleled contribution to the improvement of health services in tribal-dominated areas.”

Raipur: Union Health Minister Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, in his statement to Parliament, stated that the rate of decline in maternal mortality rate, infant mortality rate, and under-five mortality rate in India has been more than double the global rate of decline. He said this success is a result of the effective implementation of schemes run by the Health Department.

Union Health Minister Shri Nadda specifically mentioned the tribal-dominated areas of Chhattisgarh, stating that unprecedented improvement has been recorded in health indicators in Bijapur, Kondagaon, Narayanpur, Bastar, and Dantewada. This improvement has been possible due to the effective implementation of maternal and child health improvement programs in these areas. He said that the multi-faceted strategies adopted by the Ministry of Health have accelerated this improvement, and continuous improvement in the quality of health services will be made to make these efforts sustainable.

“New changes in Chhattisgarh with the cooperation of the center and the state”

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai attributed this achievement to the cooperation between the central and state governments, stating that this change has been possible as a result of the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the effective strategies of Union Health Minister Shri Nadda. He said that the Chhattisgarh government has ensured that quality health services reach even the most remote areas of the state. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that there has been a significant improvement in the care of mothers and infants in tribal-dominated areas. He said that the government has not only improved health services but has also taken concrete steps to strengthen and make accessible health facilities in tribal areas.

Chief Minister Shri Sai expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Modi and Union Health Minister Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, stating that Chhattisgarh has received unparalleled cooperation from the central government in the field of health facilities. He said that our government is fully committed to providing excellent health services to every citizen of the state.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the Chhattisgarh government is committed to continuously improving the quality of health services. He said that special attention is being paid to the establishment of new health centers, the availability of advanced equipment, and the appointment of health workers to ensure access to health services in remote areas.
