Action Against Jagarnath Hospital: Scan Center and USG machine of Jagarnath Hospital in Saraidhela Steelgate have been sealed after being caught in Dhanbad district. On Tuesday, on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Madhavi Mishra, the PC & PNDT team reached Jagarnath Hospital for surprise investigation. The team found that in the scan center of the hospital, operators are doing ultrasound of patients instead of doctors. This is a violation of PC and PNDT rules.
Civil surgeon seals USG machine
Taking quick action on this, the USG machine present in the center was sealed in the presence of Civil Surgeon Dr. Chandrabhanu Pratapan. Executive Magistrate Ravindra Nath Thakur, Assistant Nodal PC & PNDT Dr. Vikas Kumar Rana, Dr. Sunil Kumar, Dr. Rakesh Inder Singh, Dr. Sons Tabrez Alam and Pooja Ratnakar from NGO were present in the team.

Civil Surgeon Dr. Chandrabhanu Pratapan informed that the PC & PNDT team has been formed on the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner. The Deputy Commissioner has directed strict action against those who violate the rules. He informed that other investigation centers operated in the district are also being monitored. The PC & PNDT team will conduct surprise inspections in the investigation centers who do not follow the rules. Strict action will be taken against those who do not follow the rules.
