    Order Issued to Increase Dearness Allowance to 53 Percent

    Raipur, March 6, 2025 / Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai’s government has fulfilled its promise to increase the dearness allowance of state government employees to 53 percent, giving a gift to millions of state government employees before the Holi festival. It is noteworthy that Cabinet Minister Shri OP Choudhary in the Chhattisgarh government led by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai had announced the 53 percent DA for government employees in the annual budget for the year 2025-26 in the Legislative Assembly on March 3. In compliance with the said announcement, an order has been issued by the Finance Department to increase the dearness allowance of government employees.

    As per the order issued, an order has been issued to increase the dearness allowance of state government employees by 3 percent to 53 percent. The dearness allowance for employees working in the Seventh Pay Commission has been increased by 3 percent, now they will get 53 percent dearness allowance, while the dearness allowance for employees of the Sixth Pay Commission has been increased by 7 percent, now they will get 246 percent dearness allowance. This increase will be effective from March 1, 2025, and will be paid in April along with the salary for March 2025.
