    Members sway to the folk songs of ministers and MLAs; Dr. Surendra Dubey’s poems and cultural performances create a captivating atmosphere.

    Raipur, March 12, 2025: A colorful Holi Milan celebration was organized today in the Legislative Assembly premises, where Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, Leader of the Opposition Dr. Charandas Mahant, and all the MLAs greeted each other with colors and gulal, wishing each other a Happy Holi. The entire atmosphere of the event was filled with the joy of Holi. Ministers and MLAs gave enchanting performances of traditional folk songs, on which the Assembly members were seen swaying.

    Legislative Assembly premises resound with folk songs of ministers and MLAs

    A special glimpse of folk tradition was seen at the Holi Milan celebration. The folk songs sung by ministers and MLAs showed a glimpse of cultural prosperity in the Legislative Assembly premises.

    Revenue Minister Shri Tankram Verma gave a melodious presentation of the song ‘Mukh Murali Bajaye, Chhote Se Shyam Kanhaiya’. MLA Shri Anuj Sharma captivated the audience by singing ‘Ka Tai Mola Mohini Dal Diye Re’ and ‘Rang Barse’. MLA Shri Kunwar Singh Nishad hummed the songs ‘Fagun Mast Mahina’ and ‘Chana Ke Daar Raja’. MLA Shri Dilip Lahariya mesmerized the audience by singing the song ‘Nadiya Ke Paar Ma, Kadli Kachhar Ma’. MLAs Shri Ramkumar Yadav and Smt. Chaturi Nand also created a captivating atmosphere with folk songs.

    Dr. Surendra Dubey’s poems and cultural presentations add to the color

    Popular poet Dr. Surendra Dubey mesmerized everyone with his humorous and colorful Holi poems. Apart from this, Shri Rakesh Tiwari and his team created a captivating atmosphere with colorful cultural performances. Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh and Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai honored Dr. Surendra Dubey, Shri Rakesh Tiwari and his team.

    On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao, Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, Agriculture Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam, Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Food Minister Shri Dayaldas Baghel, Labor Minister Shri Lakhanlal Dewangan, MLAs Shri Ajay Chandrakar, Shri Dharamlal Kaushik, Shri Purandar Mishra, Shri Dharamjit Singh, Shri Motilal Sahu, Shri Sushant Shukla, Shri Sandeep Sahu, Guru Khushwant Saheb, Shri Bhaiyalal Rajwade, Shri Ishwar Sahu, Shri Kunwar Singh Nishad, Shri Rikesh Sen, Shri Ramkumar Yadav, Smt. Bhavana Bohra, Shri Yogeshwar Raju Sinha, Shri Atal Srivastava, Shri Lalit Chandrakar, along with officials and employees of the Legislative Assembly and other dignitaries were present.
