Prayagraj The CBI has arrested red -handed by taking bribe to two army officers. Both these officers were associated with Garrison Engineering in the army and were seeking bribes from a Delhi firm to give a contract for Manpower Supply. This major action of the CBI has revealed another case of corruption spread in the defense sector.
Among the arrested officers Garrison Engineer (Major Rank) Ravi Singh and Assistant Garrison Engineer Vimal Kumar Are included. He sought a bribe of ₹ 2.88 lakh in exchange for allowing manpower supply from a Delhi firm.
On Friday, the CBI team raided Prayagraj and caught these two officers taking a bribe of ₹ 1 lakh. During the operation, searches were also conducted in their houses and offices, from where several suspected documents and evidence have been recovered.

The CBI was already informed of this corruption, after which a detailed plan was prepared. The firm of Delhi from which bribe was sought, had informed the officials about this entire matter.
