    Review of Swachh Bharat Mission Rural Activities

    Chief Minister Mr. Sai reviewed the activities conducted under the Swachh Bharat Mission Rural. He gathered information on solid and liquid waste management, waste disposal, and ongoing campaigns for public awareness regarding cleanliness.

    He reviewed the progress of villages that have become open defecation free (ODF Plus) and discussed issues related to Ease of Living and Reforms with officials. Chief Minister Mr. Sai received information about innovation activities related to cleanliness through a PowerPoint presentation and suggested studying the best practices implemented in other states and implementing them in Chhattisgarh as well.

    Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Sharma, Chief Secretary Mr. Amitabh Jain, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. Subodh Singh, Principal Secretary of Panchayat and Rural Development Department Mrs. Niharika Barik Singh, Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. P. Dayanand, Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. Rahul Bhagat, Secretary Panchayat Mr. Bhim Singh, Special Secretary Panchayat Mr. Dharmesh Sahu, Commissioner MNREGA Mr. Taran Prakash Sinha, and Ms. Jayashree Jain, along with departmental officers and employees, were present at the meeting.
