    Chief Minister Shri Sai Launches Free Bus Service for Day-Scholar Special Children in Raipur and Bilaspur

    Raipur, May 1, 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, while giving a big gift to the visually and hearing impaired children today from his residential premises, flagged off two special buses. These buses will transport day-scholar children studying in government visually and hearing impaired schools in Raipur and Bilaspur daily free of cost from home to school and from school to home.

    Chief Minister Shri Sai said that this facility will not only ensure smooth and safe transportation for special children, but will also strengthen their self-confidence, continuity of education, and social inclusion.

    He said that this initiative will also bring relief to those parents who are worried about the daily commute of their children, especially when both parents are working.

    The Chief Minister said that the state government is committed to reaching every child with special needs and ensuring all necessary facilities to give them a better life. This bus service is not just a transport facility, but a means of bringing change in the lives of special children.

    Chief Minister Shri Sai said that access to education is the right of all children and the government is ensuring that no child is deprived of education due to any physical disability.

    Notably, with the operation of these special buses, hundreds of visually and hearing impaired children in Raipur and Bilaspur will get the opportunity of a dignified and safe journey every day, enabling them to easily connect with mainstream education.

    On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Lakshmi Rajwade, MLA Shri Bhulan Singh Maravi and Director of Social Welfare Department Smt. Roktima Yadav along with many public representatives and officers were present.
