Messrs. Rack Bank’s AI Data Center will be inaugurated
Raipur, May 02, 2025 / Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai will inaugurate 10 new innovation-based facilities of the Registration Department and lay the foundation stone of the state-of-the-art AI Data Center proposed by Messrs. Rack Bank at an event organized in Naya Raipur on May 3rd. This program will be a very important step towards strengthening the state’s digital infrastructure and providing transparent, simple and technically accessible services to the common citizens.
The Registration Department has completely digitized and simplified the registration system with the aim of facilitating the common citizens, ensuring transparency and securing documents. These facilities include technical services such as Aadhaar based authentication, online search and download, cashless payment, DigiLocker, WhatsApp notification, home-based registry, DigiDocument, and automatic mutation. With these facilities, the registry process will become paperless, secure and easier for citizens. Now, common citizens will be able to avail registry-related services from home, which will save time, labor and money.
The AI Data Center, the foundation stone of which will be laid by Chief Minister Shri Sai at the event, is being established in Sector 22 of Naya Raipur as a special economic zone. This center, with a capacity of 5 MW in the first phase, will be solar energy based while adhering to environmental protection standards, and its capacity can be expanded to 150 MW in the future. This project, with an investment of approximately 1000 crores, will create employment opportunities for more than 500 people. This unit will be developed as an anchor unit under the state’s Industrial Policy Year 2024-30. Along with this, the foundation for the development of a new eco-system related to IT, ITeS, electronics and data services will be laid in the state.
