Ranchi: State Congress President Keshav Mahato Kamlesh has appointed supervisors in view of the upcoming municipal elections to be held in the state. The state president on Sunday nominated MPs, ministers, MLAs and leaders who were candidates in the last Lok Sabha and Assembly elections as supervisors of Municipal Corporation, Nagar Panchayat and Municipal Council areas. On this occasion, he said that taking the municipal elections seriously and taking forward action towards strengthening the organization, so that we can achieve the expected success in the municipal elections.
State Congress spokesperson Sonal Shanti said that the senior leaders have been given responsibility for various municipal corporations, city councils and Nagar Panchayats. In this sequence, the responsibility of Deoghar Municipal Corporation, Madhupur Municipal Council and Godda Municipal Council to Congress Legislature Party leader Pradeep Yadav, Deepika Pandey Singh of Mahgama Municipal Council, Badal Patrakh of Basukinath Municipal Council, Chatra Municipal Council and Latehar Nagar Panchayat. N. Tripathi, Shweta Singh of Chas Municipal Corporation and Anupama Singh have been given the responsibility of Chirkunda Municipal Council.
Apart from all this, Ajay Dubey of Dhanbad Municipal Corporation, Yashaswini Sahai of Ranchi Municipal Corporation and Kapali Municipal Council, Kalicharan Munda of Bundu Nagar Panchayat and Khunti Nagar Panchayat, Bhushan Bada of Simdega Municipal Council, Sukhdev Bhagat of Gumla Municipal Council, Dr. Rameshwar Oraon of Lohardaga Municipal Council, Amba Oraon of Bachra Nagar Panchayat, Amba Prasad of Bachra Nagar Parishad, Mamta Devi of Ramgarh Municipal Council The responsibility of Nishant Alam and Mihizam Municipal Council and Jamtara Nagar Panchayat has been given to Dr. Irfan Ansari.
Similarly, Kumar Jai Mangal alias Anoop Singh of Phusro Municipal Council, Banna Gupta of Mango-Nagar Nigar, Bishrampur Municipal Council and Sudhir Kumar Chandravanshi of Majhiyanv-Nagar Panchayat, Radhakrishna Kishore of Chhatarpur Nagar Panchayat and Radhakrishna Kishore and Medini Nagar Municipal Corporation. N. Tripathi has been nominated as a supervisor.
Sonal Shanti said that the Congress is taking the upcoming municipal elections with full seriously and wants to decide its role among the urban public by performing well in these elections. This election will work as Sanjeevani for the organization, which will strengthen the Congress.
