The disappearance of an Indore couple in Meghalaya has prompted Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav to seek a CBI investigation. Raja Raghuvanshi was found dead, while his wife Sonam remains missing. CM Yadav has contacted Union Home Minister Amit Shah to request a CBI probe. He posted on social media that the Madhya Pradesh government is supporting the family and working in conjunction with Meghalaya authorities. The family had previously written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting a CBI inquiry. The couple was last seen on May 23 during their honeymoon, and Raja’s body was later recovered from a gorge near Cherrapunji. According to Raja’s brother, Vipul Raghuvanshi, the family is seeking the CBI’s involvement to bring justice and locate Sonam. Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma has expressed his condolences and promised to ensure accountability.
