Police in Tamil Nadu are investigating the suspected suicide of Dr. Joshua Samraj, a doctor found dead in a vehicle near Kodaikanal. The preliminary investigation suggests the 29-year-old, who was employed in Madurai and originally from Salem, took his own life by administering IV fluids. The body was discovered in a forest area after villagers reported the car, which had been parked in the same place for several days. A suicide note was found, in which the doctor apologized to his family. The police said his family reported that he was dealing with relationship difficulties and financial issues. A post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death. The police clarified they have not found evidence related to online gaming speculations. The incident has highlighted the prevalent mental health challenges among young professionals, specifically within the medical field.
